CocoFilms is casting! We're on the lookout for talented actors to bring our latest project about dating to life. This short film (and potential web series pilot) explores the chaos of modern dating, where brutal honesty is both a gift and a curse. If you have sharp comedic timing and love improvisation, we want to hear from you!
Logline: In a world of filtered perfection, two hilariously flawed individuals attempt to navigate a disastrous first date, where honesty is both the weapon and the wound.

Project Type: Short Film (with potential as a Web Series Pilot)
Seeking:
LEO (20s) Male, any ethnicity. A lovable, high-strung, and endearingly awkward coffee enthusiast. Possesses a nervous energy that manifests in oversharing. Must have excellent comedic timing and the ability to convey vulnerability and anxiety. Bonus points for physical comedy skills and the ability to convincingly recite the history of the French Press. Must be comfortable with a coffee stain that resembles a Rorschach test.
CHLOE (20s)Female, any ethnicity. A stylishly chaotic, brutally honest, and subtly intimidating social media maven. Exudes confidence while harboring a hidden tornado of neuroses. Must have a sharp wit, deadpan delivery, and the ability to deliver withering observations with a smile. Excellent comedic timing is essential, as is the ability to portray a character who is both alluring and slightly terrifying. Must be comfortable with wearing a lot of accessories, and having a handbag that may or may not contain a small, angry animal.
